The Sierra Leone High Commissioner to Ghana, Her Excellency Mrs. Francess Anderson has presented an award of appreciation to the Director General of Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority (SLCAA), Moses Tiffa Baio, in recognition of his moral support towards the Commission.

Presenting the award at the Director’s Office in Freetown, Her Excellency Mrs. Francess Anderson expressed appreciation to the SLCAA Director General for his display of patriotism towards the Commission, adding that his moral support to her work has added great value in developing the Commission. She also mentioned that the Commission has made effort to promote Sierra Leone tourism sector in line with the New Direction Agenda.

“Before now, the Sierra Leone High Commission to Ghana had been a stand-alone Commission. Since my accreditation, I have engaged numerous embassies/commissions to broaden my scope. Today, the Sierra Leone High Commission in Ghana has become a multilateral institution which can partner with other embassies in Ghana for investment and other development purposes. All these great strides would not have been visible without the effort of DG Baio and others,” she said.

Receiving the award on his behalf, the Deputy Director General of Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority, Mrs. Fatu-Maria Wurie Conteh, complimented the work of the High Commissioner in promoting the Sierra Leone, stating further that the Direct General’s support to Her Excellency Francess Anderson was one of the many moral support he has undertaken in pushing development agenda in various sectors.
